Requests should be submitted using the media outlet’s official form and must include the following:

For journalists at Russian media outlets:

Last name, first name and patronymic (in Cyrillic and Roman letters);

Job title;

Series and number of passport for foreign travel;

Expiry date of passport for foreign travel;

Date of birth (day, month, year);

Place of birth;

Contact telephone numbers;

For journalists at foreign media outlets accredited with the Russian Foreign Ministry:

Last name, first name and patronymic (in Cyrillic and Roman letters);

Job title;

Passport series and number (passport for foreign travel only for Russian citizens);

Passport expiry date (expiry date of passport for foreign travel for Russian citizens);

Date of birth (day, month, year);

Place of birth;

Russian Foreign Ministry accreditation number;

Incomplete requests will not be examined!

The Accreditation and Briefings Department will not provide assistance in organising travel, accommodation and obtaining visas.

The Presidential Press and Information Office’s Department of Accreditations and Briefings is taking requests for accreditation to cover the Annual Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly.

Your requests must indicate your passport number, date and place of birth, and Russian Foreign Ministry accreditation number for foreign journalists. Incomplete requests will not be examined.

The date, time and entry procedures for journalists accredited to cover the event will be announced later.

The Presidential Press and Information Office is taking requests for accreditation to cover the signing ceremony of the treaties of friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance between the Russian Federation and the Republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia on September 17, 2008, in the Kremlin.

We ask foreign media to please include in their requests the following:

Last name and first name (in Cyrillic and Roman letters); name of the media outlet; job title; Russian Foreign Ministry accreditation number (passport number and series if not accredited with the Foreign Ministry); date and place of birth, home country of the media outlet. 

Incomplete requests will not be examined.

The Presidential Press and Information Office’s Accreditations and Briefings Department informs journalists accredited to cover the Russia-EU summit and the V World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples on June 26-28 in Khanty Mansiisk that:

– The charter flights announced from Moscow on June 24, 25 and 27 and from Khanty Mansiisk on June 28 and 29 will not take place because insufficient numbers of requests have been received.

We therefore request that you book tickets yourselves on regular flights;

– Transfers to hotels will be organized for all regular flights from Moscow to Khanty Mansiisk.

Laying wreaths and flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider near the Kremlin Wall.

9 May 2008. 10:00. Red Square.

Military Parade in honour of the 63rd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Please submit separate requests for each event!

Surname, first name and patronymic in full; name of the media outlet; job title; passport details (passport number, date and place of issue, date and place of birth).

For foreign media:

Surname, first name and patronymic (in Roman and Cyrillic spelling); name of the media outlet; job title; passport details (passport number, date and place of issue, date and place of birth); Russian Foreign Ministry accreditation number.

APPLICATIONS THAT ARE FILLED OUT INCORRECTLY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
